We have NOT done a 2wd to 4wd conversion. We have sold parts to many customers to do this with our SAS kit. Physically it is easy. The hard part is the electronics. The computer and body control module need to know when the transfer case is in low range. Otherwise the rear speed sensor output measures a 2.7 ratio slip and limps out the transmission and throws codes. You will have to figure out the electronics. It's possible but ALOT of electrical work.

We offer a base kit and four different full kits. The base kit includes the base components needed to get you going on your SAS project. The base kit will give you a solid foundation as you move forward and decide on which steering combination you want to run. Our four full kits include everything in the base kit PLUS the steering components (except the box and pump) that you will need to complete the front end of your SAS project. In addition to our kits, we also sell most of the components separately if you want to piece together your own custom kit!
