The kits utilize a 2005-2021 Ford Super Duty axle as the foundation to replace your IFS. Not only do our custom-made radius arms provide better stability for all your off-road adventures, but they also provide safety and stability for on road driving.

Our precision-engineered components ensure a seamless fit and easy installation. This is the perfect upgrade to elevate your Tacoma's capabilities. Don't settle for ordinary - unleash the full potential of your truck with a high-quality WFO straight axle kit!

Choose one of our kit variations to go along with your 2005-2021 Ford Super Duty Dana 60 axle. You have flexibility in choosing which kit variation best suits your need! We offer a base kit and four different full kits. The base kit includes the base components needed to get you going on your SAS project. The base kit will give you a solid foundation as you move forward and decide on which steering combination you want to run. Our four full kits include everything in the base kit PLUS the steering components (except the box and pump) that you will need to complete the front end of your SAS project. In addition to our kits, we also sell most of the components separately if you want to piece together your own custom kit!

The two big decisions you will need to make regarding the steering aspect of your 2005-2015 Tacoma SAS project are:

  1. Which steering box do you want to use? Your choices are a WFO custom tuned Big Bore steering box from PSC or an OEM style Toyota IFS steering box.  We sell the custom tuned PSC Big Bore boxes, but the Toyota box will have to be sourced by you. More information regarding the Toyota IFS steering box can be found on the individual kit description pages.
  2. What type of steering setup do you want to run – stock steering or crossover steering? Our SAS kits with crossover steering include a heavy duty Reid knuckle, WFO high steer arm, and a draglink. If you choose to run crossover steering with the custom tuned PSC Big Bore steering box, we also make an upgraded heavy duty tie rod that can be purchased separately!

Important items to keep in mind when considering and undertaking a SAS project on your 2000-2015 Toyota Tacoma using one of our kits:

  • Our kits are for the front end only. You will need to work out how to handle the rear of the truck. Different variables will come into play when addressing the rear end, including intended use of the truck and your individual driving style. We sell most of the rear end components that will be needed including a great shackle flip kit.
  • You will need to source 2005-2021 Ford Super Duty Dana 60 axle to go along with any of our kits.
  • Welding, cutting, and grinding will be needed to install our kits.
  • ABS System. Our kits do not have provisions to keep your ABS / ”ECU Skid Control” unit. It will be up to you to disable this unit. Toyota pickup ABS units vary throughout 2005-2015 so please consult the OEM wiring schematics for your specific year when disabling your ABS unit.
  • Speedometer. Some modification is required to retain your speedometer. We have an instruction sheet to do this on 2005–2010 Toyota pickups. We have not completed this task on a 2011-2015 Tacoma yet, so we don’t have an instruction sheet for those years. We will publish an instruction sheet for 2011-2015 once we have enough data. Until then, you will need to do your own research to retain your speedometer if you have a 2011-2015 Tacoma.
  • Steering Pump Pulley Removal. When swapping in a newer PSC power steering pump, you will need to remove the stock pulley from your Toyota pump. We have directions on how to remove the pulley from your old pump and install it onto your new pump.
  • Coilovers. Coilovers are not included in our SAS kits. The WFO 2005-2015 Tacoma SAS kit is designed for a 12” travel coilover. Due to compression interferences between the suspension to frame, you will need a coilover with a total compressed length of 20” to 20.5” We sell some coilovers packages for this kit, or you can source them on your own. If you source your own coilovers, make sure that they are not shorter than 20” at full compression. Here are some of our recommended coilover choices:
     > FOX Shocks - 983-02-104 - Performance 2.5” x 12’ Coilover Shock with Remote Reservoir (compressed: 20.44” / extended: 32.45”)
     > KING Shocks - PR2512-COHR - Performance 2.5” x 12" Coilover with Remote Reservoir (compressed: 20.60” / extended: 32.6”)
     > ADS Shocks - 250-COS12-0A9 - Race 2.5" x 12" Coilover with Remote Reservoir, Swivel 90*, Compression adjuster.  (compressed :20” / extended: 32”)
  • Coilover spring rates. Our recommended spring rates to start with are 12”x200 lbs for the top spring and 14”x250 lbs for the bottom spring.
