Steering Column Firewall Plate Assembly for 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma

When swapping your truck steering from a stock rack and pinion style steering setup to a straight axle utilizing a steering box, the shaft that attaches your steering wheel to the steering gear will change. The stock column shaft setup enters the cab almost vertically. But when mounting the box as far forward as possible, the angle of your shaft will now flatten out. With a little trimming to your firewall, our plate will bolt up with factory hardware and give you the best angles to run a new adjustable steering column from your steering wheel to your newly mounted steering box!
