Dana 60 Front Axle Truss, Ford w/ TJ 3 Link Brackets
The 1980-1991 Ford kingpin front Dana 60 is the most common D60 out there. This is a great option for Jeep TJ Wranglers. We decided to make a front axle truss that drops onto the kingpin axle and holds the coils and control arm links. The lower track bar mount is adjustable and not welded onto the truss so you can slide it up or down the truss to the proper location for your application. You may have to build a new track bar or at least shorten your existing track bar. We recommend running cross over steering with the draglink going to a cross over arm tapered from the bottom up. This helps you get the most up travel possible. You can also run an inverted T steering into the top of the stock knuckles.
The kit price includes the complete front truss made out of 1/4" steel, the captured lower coil buckets, shock mounts built into the lower link mounts (2.625" wide 9/16" bolt holes), the upper 3 link mount (1.75" wide 5/8" bolt hole), and a separate adjustable front lower track-bar mount ,
This truss requires you to trim down a small amount of the front 60 casting where the factory leaf spring perch sits.
We also have the upper track-bar mount, the track-bar parts, the steering parts, and the link parts. Call if you have questions.
