Dana 60 Heavy Duty Double Adjustable Double Arms.  These steering arms are my most popular selling Dana 60 steering arm.  I made the first set of these arms in 1999 for the Dana 60 front axle I swapped into my 89 Chevy.  These steering arms are designed to put the the tie-rod behind the axle, and the draglink across the front of the axle.  This will allow you to move your axle forward without having any interference with the pitman arm and the tie-rod.  These arms work great in Jeep CJ and YJ applications, as well as full size Chevy trucks.

This HDA version has an adjustable upper set screw for pre-loading the kingpin.  The spring that is used from the factory can contribute to "death wobble" when it deflects.  With the HDA arms, the spring is removed and replaced by a washer and set screw.  This will allow you to tighten your knuckle pre-load at any time as the kingpin bushing wears out.

The arms can be ordered with a taper for chevy tapered ends, or a straight 5/8" hole for heim joints.  The arms with tapered holes have the Chevy tie-rod end taper behind the axle, and a Chevy draglink end taper in the front end of the double arm.  Remember, the Chevy draglink ends have a slightly larger shank diameter and taper, allowing them to acheive more angle.

The arms do NOT come with studs and nuts.  Be sure to select the correct part above to get the ARP studs and nuts if necessary.  If you have a Chevy or Dodge 60 with the stock studs and tapered nuts on the driver's side, you can re-use those by drilling the arm to 17/32".  You will still need four studs and tapered nuts for the passenger's side.  Scroll down to see the related items to purchase just four ARP studs and tapered nuts.

WARNING: Be sure that you will have enough clearance for your tie-rod behind the axle. Check oil pan clearance, as well as shock clearance.
