When building
a custom vehicle, there are many times when a custom built
part is needed. In this case, WFO can custom build just about
any one-off part or bracket that you need. If you have a part
drawn in CAD, or even on a napkin, the odds are, WFO can build
it for you. With the help of CNC machines and a waterjet close
by, detailed and contoured parts are not out of the question.
Some of the more commonly used parts are listed below. Be
sure to check this page often. Many new parts are on the way!
Chevy 14 Bolt disc brake brakets
These brackets
are designed to fit most full floating 14 bolt rear axles
from 1973 to 1991. They bolt on using the factory backing
plate mounting surface.
Dana 60/70 Custom Yokes
This yoke
is 29 spline, and will fit most 60 and 70’s. It
is a completely new casting with .250” of extra
height.
Leaf spring and shackle mounts
These
are custom fabricated mounts. They are designed for
use with 2.5” wide springs. The shackle mount
accepts polyurethane bushings, and is constructed from
DOM tubing
and 1/4" steel. It can be bolted or welded on.
Steel Leaf Spring Shims
These shims are CNC machined from solid steel. They can be ordered in either 2, 4, 6, or 8 degrees. The center pin hole is 5/16 diameter. It can be drilled to fit any center pin size. These shims will not break like most aluminum ones.
Steel U-bolt plates
These Plates are lazer cut from 3/8” thick steel. The ends are broke up for added strength. They fit a standard 2.5” leaf spring. The u-bolt holes are opened up to fit most standard size axle tubes.
Steel Shackles
These Shackles are lazer cut from 3/8” steel. The bolt holes are ½” in diameter. They can be ordered either 4” or 5” long. Each shackle sold separately.
ShockTowers
These are the widely used OEM Ford shock towers. They work great for fitting long travel shocks in just about any vehicle. They can easily be bolted or welded to the frame.
Billet shift knobs
Billet aluminum shift knobs. These knobs are CNC machined and CNC engraved. Each knob comes with a stainless steel jamb nut.
Threaded Tube Inserts
These are CNC machined, threaded tube inserts. The outside diameter of the insert is 1 1/16”. They are designed to fit our 1.5”x.219 wall DOM tubing. They can be ordered in left hand or right hand threads for either heim joints or tierod ends.
