YA W46101. Ford Dana 60, 35 spline outer stub shaft, 4340 alloy steel, Yukon. This axle shaft fits the poplular high pinion Dana 60 Ford Front axles. These axles can be found in 1 ton trucks from 1978 to 1997. This outer stub shaft is about 1/2" shorter than the Chevy and Dodge outer stubs. This is a bolt-in replacement for the factory 30 spline stub shaft, but it will require 35 spline outer locking hubs or drive flanges. This shaft is also machined to accept full circle clips for u-joint installation if desired. 1 year warranty.
We always suggest using new axle slingers, new spindle rebuild kits, and new u-joints when installing outer stub shafts. If you are using Forged Spicer 806-X u-joints, we suggest using full clips as well.
