WFO 1230. Forged steel, Dana 44, high-steer arms. This set of arms is our largest selling dana 44 high-steer arms set. These arms work really good on Jeep CJ and YJ applications. They are forged with a bend in them, so they end up being 2" tall. This allows the tie-rod to be high enough to clear the leaf springs in a spring over application. There is no need for steering arm spacers. Not to mention, the arms can be used with factory length steering arm studs and hardware. Each arm only has one taperd hole in it. They are designed to be used with Chevy tie-rod ends. In this setup, the draglink steers into the hole in the ES2233L tie-rod end. This works great in conjunction with a 5" to 6" long pitman arm. In Jeeps, the combination of a shorter high-steer arm, and a short pitman arm, keeps the tie-rod from coming up and hitting the pitman arm when the driver's side tire flexes up. On the YJ's, we use a factory TJ/YJ pitman arm, tapered from the bottom up. In the CJ's, we use the same pitman arm, tapered from the top down.
